Belonging: A Journey of Youth, Culture, and Identity
At Youth Arts for Humanity, we believe in the power of art to inspire change and bring people together. Through creating and sharing our work in exhibitions, we strive to connect with others, spark dialogue, and inspire positive change in our communities.

In January 2026, members of Youth Arts for Humanity will present artworks based on "Belonging: A Journey of Youth, Culture, and Identity" at Gale Free Library in Holden, Massachusetts.

Our inaugural exhibition explores what it means to find one’s place in a world shaped by multiple cultures and influences.
Featuring paintings, drawings, and photographs by young artists growing up between different traditions and communities, the exhibition delves into the complexities of belonging—balancing expectations, heritage, and dreams for the future.

Through self-portraits, cultural symbols, foods, and everyday moments, these works reveal both the challenges and the beauty of living across two worlds. Together, they form a powerful collective story of identity, resilience, and hope.

This exhibition offers young people a meaningful space to share their experiences through art—exploring identity, heritage, transition, and the search for belonging.
